Women-Owned Businesses to Support During (And After) Women's History Month
Women's History Month marks March as an annual, national celebration of the central role Women have played in United States History. In honor, BVA wanted to highlight some of the incredible Women-Owned businesses and entrepreneurs that we can support as consumers.
Below, you will find a range of small Women-led businesses offering products and services for women. Be sure to check their online stores!
Women-Owned Businesses to Support
1. Ebaata Skincare
“With Ebaata Skincare, I have set out to create sustainable products that are kind to both the skin and the environment; educate customers on the ingredients they are consuming; and support families in making better choices. By developing products that are clean and beneficial to the skin, I am passionate about continuing to raise awareness of the ingredients in beauty and skincare products; and broadening perspectives around what is essential to building skin immunity.”
2. Gwen Beloti
“Founded by Brooklyn Designer, the collection is intended to make your accessory experience effortless and fashionable. Gwen fell in love with accessories at a young age. Her experience with fashion and jewelry over the years, as both a consumer and designer is what inspires the collection.”
3. Joselyn Martinez
“An NYC performing artist & lifestyle designer that loves helping you create the system & mindset to get you to where you want to be. Through my personal development lifestyle brand, Joselyn Martinez Inc. I offer up to date solutions to help you navigate modern day life in a way that leaves you feeling more daily fulfillment & satisfaction.”
4. Marmalade Body Products
“Marmalade Body Products is designed for women by women. A platform that's inviting, unapologetic, informative yet fun. A space were one can explore, redefine while having new experiences. Give yourselves permission and let the magic begin. The premise behind Marmalade Body Products is to provide you with the convenience and ease in ordering pleasure products either for yourself or for others as a gift. 5. My Beautiful Fluff
“Wanting to embrace my journey back to natural hair I wanted to get the t-shirt with the colorful beautiful afros. However, they only went up to 3x or they were men’s shirts with the design on the front. I knew there had to be something for me. Curvaceous Curls was born which was the name originally until I decided I want to focus on clothing designed with curves in mind on a bigger scale. I remember the childhood nick name of fluffy that my mom so affectionately gave me from that Curvaceous Curls became the first design under My Beautiful Fluff. I wanted My Beautiful Fluff to be empowering, motivating and encourage women to love themselves as they are.”
6. Soule II Soule
“The incorporation of Soule 2 Soule was based on my passion for skincare and how it helped me on my journey to self-love through self-care. Before my mother passed, I watched her run her own holistic/natural hair salon & spa and learned the importance of delivering products that not only smelled good, but made you feel good as well.”
As an eCommerce agency serving direct-to-consumer brands of all lifecycle stages, BVA is super excited to work with Start Small Think Big and their clients in order to support their marketing efforts and online businesses.
Limiting our support of the Women-owned business community should not be a one-time thing; we’re going to continue this important work into the future.
